Natural Honey Electrolyte Beverage Recipe

This electrolyte beverage is a refreshing and hydrating option for anyone looking to replenish their body with essential nutrients after a workout or on a hot day. Coconut water is a great source of natural electrolytes, including potassium and magnesium, while orange juice and lemon juice provide additional vitamin C and antioxidants. Raw honey also has a high electrolyte content, antimicrobial properties, antioxidant benefits, and it adds a touch of natural sweetness, while sea salt helps to regulate fluid balance and prevent cramping.


Ingredients:

    • 1 cup of coconut water
    • 1 cup of distilled water
    • 1 cup of freshly squeezed orange juice
    • 1/4 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
    • 3 tablespoons of Honeydew Forest Honey
    • 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt

Directions:

    1. In a pitcher, combine the coconut water, distilled water, freshly squeezed orange juice, and freshly squeezed lemon juice.
    2. Add the raw honey to the mixture and stir until it has completely dissolved.
    3. Add the sea salt to the mixture and stir until it has completely dissolved.
    4. Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness or saltiness to your liking.
    5. Chill the electrolyte beverage in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
    6. Serve the electrolyte beverage over ice, if desired.
